Climb Out of the Darkness is an annual, international fundraiser for Postpartum Support International.
Climb Out of the Darkness is committed to bringing people together, united, to honor the struggle to overcome PMADs (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders). We promote awareness, prevention, and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide. We support moms & dads, community programs and healthcare providers.
This is our second year of the CLIMB here in Erie and we hope to bring in even more people and support! We’re raising money to benefit Postpartum Support International and a to help local mothers who are in need by offering meals and other neccessities during difficult postpartum times.
We are mothers, survivors, supporters, and providers, climbing together to let all moms know: You are not alone. You are not to blame. With help, you will be well.

If you raise $100 or more, you win an awesome T-shirt! But, please note: there is no obligation to fundraise. We would love for you to attend and climb with us whether or not you raise money.
EVENT DETAILS:
When: June 22, 2019, registration starts @9:00am and the Climb begins at 10:00am
Where: Froniter Park (playground)
We will gather starting at 9:00 AM at the playground in Frontier Park to hear some local stories of women, we will cheer to send off the 5k at 10:00am, shortly after the walk (climb) will begin. Both the 5k and the walk route are stroller friendly! Snacks and water provided!
Postpartum Support International's Climb Out of the Darkness is the world's largest event for raising awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, while raising money and building community.
