Northwest PA Doulas is proud to participate in Erie's 2nd Annual Climb Out of the Darkness!

Lets connect with those in our community and stamp out the lonely darkness that consumes as many as 1 in 7 new parents. We're so excited to see you there!

Donate. Walk with us to represent the symbolic rise out of the darkness of maternal mental illness and into the light of hope and recovery.

Join moms, dads, partners, and families in our community as we fight the stigma and raise awareness of Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders. Your donations and support will help shine a light of hope so that fellow community members will receive better information and better treatment, and their new families will get off to the healthy, strong start they deserve.

Postpartum Support International's Climb Out of the Darkness® is the world’s largest event raising awareness of maternal mental illnesses including postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and psychosis. The Climb is held on the longest day of the year to help shine the most light on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 22nd at the beautiful Frontier Park (1501 W. 6th St. Erie, PA 16505).

Registration 9:00 am
Presentation & Giveaways 9:30 am
Run/Walk starts at 10:00 am

Afterwards, families are welcome to explore the park/playground.

A portion of the funds raised at this event will go directly to local families in the form of postpartum meal delivery services and other resources.
