Climb Out of the Darkness is an annual, international fundraiser for Postpartum Support International.
Climb Out of the Darkness is committed to bringing people together, united, to honor the struggle to overcome PMADs (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders). We promote awareness, prevention, and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide. We support moms & dads, community programs and healthcare providers.
This year, we’re raising money to benefit Postpartum Support International - NC, which will keep 100% of your donation money in North Carolina. We are mothers, survivors, supporters, and providers, climbing together to let all moms know: You are not alone. You are not to blame. With help, you will be well.

You can join the team, raise money and pledge to walk by pressing the "Join Team" button in the upper right hand corner. If you raise $100 or more, you win an awesome T-shirt! But, please note: there is no obligation to fundraise. We would love for you to attend and climb with us whether or not you raise money.
EVENT DETAILS:
When: June 22, 2019, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Where: Wayne Community College, 3000 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534
We will begin registeration at 9:00 AM for those that have not pre-registerd. We will listen to opening remarks will begin at 9:30 and then the walk (Climb) will begin at 10:00 AM. We will walk the preimeter of the parking lot in front of the Learning Resource Center. This path is paved and is stroller-friendly. Snacks and water provided!
Postpartum Support International's Climb Out of the Darkness is the world's largest event for raising awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, while raising money and building community.
