Team Chicago Western Suburbs is climbing again!!! Join us at beautiful Lake Ellyn Park in Glen Ellyn this year as we raise awareness and funds for perinatal mental health!
Climb Out of the Darkness is an annual, international fundraiser for Postpartum Support International (PSI). Climb Out of the Darkness is committed to bringing people together, united, to honor the struggle to overcome Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). PSI promotes awareness, prevention, and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide. We support moms and dads, community programs, and healthcare providers.
Last year, Team Chicago Western Suburbs raised over $6,000! That money went directly to the PSI Illinois Chapter to help Illinois families, programs, and providers! Let's see if we can top that number this year!! Seventy-five percent of the funds raised by our team this year will stay right here in DuPage County to help support Illinois families through Mom2Mom Downers Grove, a peer-to-peer support group for new and expectant mothers struggling with the transition to motherhood!
Join us for a family-friendly walk around beautiful Lake Ellyn, fun activities, giveaways, and playtime at the park! Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy as we mingle with old and new friends in support of PMADs.
