Summary

The 2024 Postpartum Support International (PSI) Advisory Council webinar series explores expert research and treatment in perinatal mental health. The sessions cover identification, diagnosis, support, and treatment. The expert faculty are members of the Postpartum Support International Advisory Council and are experienced clinicians, researchers, and perinatal mental health support advocates. Social workers who want CE credit must view the complete series (all seven classes). No CE credit is approved for single classes alone.

Description

The PSI Advisory Council Webinar Series is a series of seven classes presented as a live webinar series in 2024, which was recorded and is now available on demand. The series covers integral topics in perinatal mental health; covering research, identification, diagnosis, and treatment. The expert faculty, members of the Postpartum Support International Advisory Council, are experienced perinatal mental health clinicians, researchers, and advocates.  Attendees must view the complete series (all seven classes); no partial credit is given.

Continuing Education Credits

  • CME: The AAFP has reviewed PSI Advisory Council Series and deemed it acceptable for up to 6.00 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 01/05/2025 to 01/05/2026. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
  • APA: Postpartum Support International (PSI) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Postpartum Support International (PSI) maintains responsibility for this program and its content. The webinar course provides 7 CE contact hours.
  • Social Workers: Postpartum Support International, #2361, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 4/11/2025 - 4/11/2026. Social workers completing this course receive 14.5 clinical continuing education credits. 7 CEs.
  • NBCC Counselors: Postpartum Support International has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6765. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Postpartum Support International is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. 7 CEs,
