Please come and Climb with us on Saturday, June 22nd. We will be walking the 1.2 mile recreational trail around the lake. You can find us in Parking Lot E near Building 7 at the DMACC campus in Ankeny.

The purpose of Postpartum Support International is to increase awareness amoung public and professional communities about the emotional changes women (and men) experience during the pregnancy and postpartum period. Approximatley 15% of all women experience a postpartum mood disorder following the birth of a child. Up to 10% will experience depression or anxiety during pregnancy. When the mental health of the mother or other parent is compromised, it affects the entire family.

Postpartum Support International's Climb Out of the Darkness is the world's largest event for raising awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, while raising money and building community.
