Dear Friends,

Did you know that mental health issues are the # 1 complication of pregnancy in the United States? More than any other condition, changes in mood and anxiety create suffering for mothers and steal joy during pregnancy and the postpartum period. 

I am raising money to support improvements in service delivery to women with Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders in the Quad Cities area. The money raised will be used to bring training to local providers so we are better able to identify moms struggling with mood and anxiety changes, better able to intervene with effective conversations, better able to link women to the support in the community that meets their needs, and better able to help mothers feel that they are not alone, they are not to blame and that with help, they will get better.
