Hey everyone,

Another year has gone by and with that comes another climb out of the darkness event! This year will be the first year I'm doing it as a mother and I hope some of you will consider donating to the cause or just joining the event. It's all about ending the stigma of mental health and supporting families during the postpartum period.

I do this in honor of my friend Jen and her family who lost the battle with postpartum mood disorder. Jen, Joe and Danny will always be remembered and I hope that the loss of these beautiful friends can be forever turned into a way for us to remember to help others in need.

Postpartum Support International's Climb Out of the Darkness is the world's largest event for raising awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, while raising money and building community.
