On June 22nd I will be walking in support of the Climb Out of the Darkness 2019 initiative to increase awareness about Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. This walk symbolizes the climb that many new mothers face as they battle postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and other perinatal mood disorders. Your participation will help new mothers suffering from perinatal mood disorders know that they are not alone, and that healing is possible. As someone who has struggled with more than one of these conditions during my six years of motherhood-I feel compelled to support and help other moms who may be suffering realize that they are not alone. All proceeds will benefit Postpartum Support International (PSI) and First Connections in Acton, MA.
Postpartum Support International's Climb Out of the Darkness is the world's largest event for raising awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, while raising money and building community.
