As many are aware, last year, my life was forever altered by my diagnosis of postpartum anxiety and the journey that I experienced from same. While the support and resources afforded to me in our high-country community ultimately helped me cope with and address my diagnosis, I learned there is an incredible need for much more provider education, individual therapy resources, and family support services for families experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) in our local area.  Because of this, I have made it a personal mission to continue to try and aid in the effort to increase support and awareness of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders for the Boone area.
