We are hosting the High Country CLIMB to symbolize our collective rise out of the darkness, raise awareness of maternal mental illness, and to raise funds to support Postpartum Support International, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded to help support and educate moms and dads around the world (EIN# 77-0196208).  All funds raised by our team will go directly to the High Country region of the NC Chapter, which is currently working to provide a better support system for our state.

On Saturday, June 29th at 2pm women & thier families, provdiers and community members will be participating in our 3rd annual Climb Out of the Darkness to raise awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders like postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD and psychosis. Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, which affects approximately 1 in every 7 women, is the most common complication of pregnancy & childbirth.

Warmly,

High Country Climb Out of the Darkness Planning Committee
