Postpartum depression and anxiety hit myself and my family hard after the birth of my second child. A humbling experience to say the least. I am forever changed in some ways by the struggles we have faced in the last 6 months but this has also been a time of hope and happiness for us. Luckily I had a wonderful therapist, managed meds & support group in the area to help me through. We found strength we never knew we had. Our family and friends gave love and support that reminded us everyday how truly blessed we were. I was not alone and neither is anyone else going through this. Myself and my family want to blow the lid off of this topic. Donations are not mandatory but it so appreciated and will help get more resources to families in need. I’m Looking forward to this walk as it is my first. It takes a village! “
